Floating Concrete Feeding Barges
A solid and highly efficient feed barges and work barges are able to built with reinforced concrete. Most of time the design of the modules are Integrated service building and concrete feed silos. Building includes general storage and furnished office and convenience rooms for crew. Rooms below deck can be adapted for any use. The barge offers a drive-able deck, deck guide rails, rounded corners and fenders.
Concrete work and feed barge has concrete walls as a security measure against coallisions. This work and feed barges can be supplied in any size but the most typical sizes in demand are in the 100-400 metric tonne range. A 400 tonne work and feed barge has 300 tonnes feed capacity and 100 tonnes capacity for feed stored on deck, machinery, storage tanks and others. Work and feed barge has been designed to maximize deck space for other activity and operations. This barges can be customer designed and shaped both inside and outside to suit customers spesifications.

Concrete feed barges are chosen by more and more fish farmers. The farm base barges can be constructed to suit all the fish farmers needs. Among the advantages with the concrete barges are:
1. Exellent stability
2. Minimum maintenance
3. High degree of safety precausions
4. Excellent working conditions
5. Huge storage capacity
Concrete feed barges have been developed based on two different principles:
1. Feed storage in silos and centralized feeding
2. Cold storage in storage building on deck. Transportation of the feed to the cages takes place with boat or fork lift and the feed is fed through automatic feeders or blowers. The cold storage barges can in addition be designed for centralized feeding.
